| what IS it with this month??! |
| Okay so lets see.. a lot of crappy stuff has happened this month! And so I am declaring this month the "Month O' Pain"! I don't even know where to start. Um, well Grace broke her little arm on Tuesday trying to do 'the snake' on her bike (which is apparently where you weave back and forth on it, my guess is she leaned a little too far left) and then the next day I took her to Kates work to get a pink cast on it, and of course she was flopping it around and just like.. stressing me out with it haha. Then the next day, I came out of my bedroom and stepped on a board I use to keep Big Boy out of the hallway and felt a pain in my foot. I yelled out "OW" and mom was heading to the gate between the kitchen and the front room to find out what happened. Well I looked down at my foot, trying to figure out where the little splinter (I assumed) was in my foot, when I saw a huge (okay huge cause I thought it was a small splinter) flat red disk stuck to my foot. I don't know if seeing it made my mind register what it was or if it was the movement of my foot but it started to send a jolt of horrific pain through my foot. So, because I'm a silly girl, I started screaming (from the pain and the fact that I had a thumbtack through my foot)and yelling "GET IT OUT!!" and my Super-Mommy came to the rescue and pulled it out quickly. Only I think when it was pulled out it tore something because the pain I experienced before it was out was like.. nothing at all. Anyway, now I feel a little silly writing all that out just to say I had a thumbtack in my foot, but it was like a total ordeal okay!! Anyway and so today I was passing by my aunts house and my Aunt Shirley was just getting out of the car from work and so I stopped to say hello. Then she tells me Auntie has a new puppy so of course I had to go see him! SOOO CUUUTTTEEE!!! a total mix of different breeds but soo cute! and so I find out my poor Aunt Linda has been in the hospital for like 3 weeks with a horrid staph infection (MSRA I believe is the name) and she just got home. And then Aunt Inez or Great Aunt Inez had broken her shoulder while Aunt Linda was in the hospital (she usually takes care of her) so Auntie goes to do something for Aunt Inez at her home while shes in the hospital and she ends up cutting her two middle fingers and smashing her pointer finger in the garage door I believe. So the two middle fingers have little stitches in them :( OOH and then yesterday Mom and I were driving down Josey to go to Sonic and we were fixing to pass Kroger when these stupid cars in front of us were driving like 15 mph. Then I see that there is like cops swarming this house at the end of the street only.. it wasn't some cops.. it was like Dallas SWAT TEAM!! And I could hear them yelling to the people inside and theres broken windows and smoke bombs every where. So everyone on the opposite side of the road(the side I'm on) are going slow and I'm like HELLO DO YOU WANT TO BE SHOT?! and they had completely closed off the side they were on. Then, on the same side as the first house, on the next street they had like a tank/hummer SWAT car in the yard and more SWAT people and more broken windows... IT WAS INSANE!!! and this just like 10 streets away from me! So of course after we get our food I go back the way I came and they have like 3 guys handcuffed on the grass and then like 10 more at the first house I saw. Mom said it was probably drugs.. I agree... And they are trying to make Farmers Branch a "Highland Park" HAHAHHAHA.. anyway I have some pics I wanna post but now I have to make dinner so I'll post them later... HOPE YOU ENJOYED!!! |

| ..ten years later! |
Yes it has been a while!! I had updated sometime near Christmas, talking about Thanksgiving, but something happened and it didn't save or something I can't remember. So I got mad and haven't blogged since, heh! But I am back!! I've also 'been in hiding' as my friends tell me. I got a little depressed and still kind of am, but that's okay!! Things can only get better when your at the bottom! haha. Anyway, I really don't have too much exciting news. I have two cousins who are thinking of moving to Dallas, so I am happy about that. I hope it works out for them both because it's no good for them where they are. OH! And also, I am a 'mother' again! I sort of adopted a little bundle of joy named Big Boy. He is part (or very possibly full) pit bull. He is just absolutely the cutest thing ever! He totally stole Moms heart as well. He is now about 9 or 10 weeks old and I got him when he was about 7 weeks. My friend Julie decided she had to get away and we were going to go to Washington cause, um, yeah, but Mom said she wasn't going to be happy so I didn't want her mad at me so we went to Oklahoma where we both have family about an hour and a half away from each other. She sort of met someone who found Big Boy when his mother was kicking him away from her house (he was a stray) and Julie said she wanted to take him back to her daughters. Then when we were at the hotel he pooped (he's young!) and suddenly she didn't want him anymore. Then her friend said 'lets leave him here.' And if you know me you know I could never let that happen. It takes a lot of self control not to pull over every time I see a stray and take them home with me. So anyway, a long story not so short, I got him. I was going to find a good home for me but hey! what better place than my own! I couldn't bare to see him go. I was his from the moment he looked up at me with his little puppy eyes in the back seat of Julies truck. He is currently half wrapped around my leg asleep. TOO CUTE!! Anywho, I think that's all I have to say for this post. And so here come the pictures!!
I've been attached to the hip with my photoshop. I LOVE IT!!!! I would give up all my other addictions for this addiction! HAHA.. Okay maybe not Twilight but anyway...

yeah the way I photoshop'd this pic is kind of weird but for some reason I liked it.. plus its a purply pink which is her favorite colors I believe.

Mason has a really good serious face for pictures. I kind of want to dress him in cowboy clothes and hat I think it'd be really good, what do you think?!
Oh I forgot to mention that Kaylee was my assistant for the shoot. She suggested a lot of the poses you see! very smart! she might be a great photographer for a mag or something some day!
Okay these last ones are my pride and joys! my masterpieces if you will.
Here's miss Gracie. The background I got off google images and the leopard too. Made the light coming down me self and the coloring and yada yada.. my friend said the leopard didn't look right there, what do you think about that?!
These of Kaylee were an all day and part night event. I can't even begin to tell you how much I changed with just the background! notice anything different about her foot?
This would be my favorite one but I think the light coming in from the sun on the left is too much (the pic came that way)
