NEWBIE |
So, first blog. Guess I should catch everyone up on my past so you can understand me now. I was a very cute toddler, I was brought up on New Kids on The Block and George Jones. I'm what my mom would call a "night owl" because of all the late nights i spent up with my dad and my brother when he was here. Sadly, most of my memories growing up are in a negative light. From a early age I started having to deal with stuff some adults probably still haven't had to deal with. I've dealt with my granddaddy and him being sick and finally his life coming to a end. The bickering of my parents whom I love so much. Also when I was, I believe, in the fourth grade my brother got in a horrible painting accident and the doctors didn't seem to give him much hope, at least not in my eyes. I almost lost one of my best friends. Then after his amazing miracle of getting better and walking again, we grew apart. That was my fault though. Gotta love preteen/teen anger. Now I sit back green with envy because sometimes it seems my cousin is closer to my brother than I am. I must say though, my worst tragedy to date would be losing my dad. I have got to be one of the biggest daddy's girls in the world. He was my hero. The smartest man I'll ever know. I never thought I'd see him go, he was invincible. I would be up late at night sitting in his lap eating ice cream. Or watching a rated R movie and he would just cover my eyes during 'naughty' scenes. I remember the last time I felt comforted. It was one night at the hospital. My mom and I think my aunts were there. Then My Sister in law Jamie, my brother JD and my sister Kate and I all slept on the floor with me between my big brother and big sister. Then the next day I held my dads hand as he took his last breaths. I was only 16 at the time. I was never good in school and after that it just seemed impossible. Sadly I took the easy way out and dropped out of school. Now don't get me wrong, I know I don't have it as bad as other people. There's lots of people who have it 20 times worse. And I mean there are some really good times I've had. I've traveled to so many places thanks to my mom being a flight attendant. Places like Miami, Orlando (Disney World IS AWESOME!), Arvada Co., LA!, been to Las Vegas twice now, Las Cruces NM to see my brother and sister and cousin Anna, Chicago, Milwaukee to swing dance, Oklahoma where my dads side is from, Mexico thanks to my brother and sister. Oh, and if you ever get the chance to come to Texas I suggest Austin! Wonderful sights to see, awesome bars on 6th street, and a great music scene. There's always something going on and it's something to remember. If you're ever in Oklahoma on the last weekend of April you have to hit up the Rattle Snake Festival! There are games you can play, rides, FUNNEL CAKE, you can hold a rattle snake and get your picture taken.. don't worry the mouth is sewn shut...and I believe you can go hunt for them. Lets see, what else about moi. I guess I'll bring you up to now. I am 22, still living with my mom. I have a fiance Jesus, who I constantly fight with. Though if you look at our childhoods that's what we were grew up on. My sister has a son and two daughters who I love and treat as my own. We just took a trip to College Station where my nephew's team got SECOND at STATE!!.. of course he played about two minutes of the whole thing. My first niece is a total heart breaker and shes only in first grade. Oh and I think she might actually be part monkey; shes always hanging off of something. My baby niece is totally me. She just kinda does her own thing since shes the youngest, loves to sing and LOUD. And now about two months ago my brother and sister adopted the most handsome little boy. I'm excited that I will hopefully be seeing him next week. Its kinda crazy he looks a little like dad. It's a little saddening to know I won't get to see him every day like my sisters kids. In my life I also have my friend and soul mate Anthony. You will hear LOTS about him. He is my partner in crime. I haven't really mentioned my mom. It used to be anything that came out of our mouths would be in a loud volume. Once again, mostly my fault. THOUGH, she IS as hard headed as I am. But now I think we are very close. She's probably one of my best friends. I also have three more mothers: Auntie, Aunt Shirley and Aunt Linda. Um, I hate animal cruelty.. so much that I refuse to watch movies with dogs in them because most of the time they get hurt or killed. However I eat meat. But I'm from Texas so can't really not eat it. I have two dogs Sassy Ann and Molly Andrea and a cat named Luna Lee. I also cry when i see a dog running in the streets and I break for anything that's trying to cross the road. Once there was a turtle and I made my friend get out and put it on the sidewalk.. then made her get back out and put it on the other side that was next to the creek. haha. I love to sing and go places and see new things. I love making plans but am not too good a caring them out. I have lots of tattoos and hate being asked how many I have 'cause if you can't tell by looking then there are too many. and YES it hurts! It's not like it feels like a feather tickling you. I used to look like a 'pin cushion' with tons of piercings too. I like to think I've calmed down from that point and only have like fourish. I'm a sap for love songs and girly movies. Though I do like scary goreish movies at times. I love playing The Sims.. well actually I'm quite addicted. And I love my sniper riffle in Halo 1 and 2. (haven't played the 3rd yet :( ) Oh and I'm a horrible speller, so thank goodness for spell check. I also drink on occasion though it seems I drank more when I wasn't of age than now. More than likely you can find a cigarette in my hand and I have a terrible habit of cussing which I don't usually mean to insult anyone by. To me they are just words. I also like to over use comma's, add ISH to the end of everything and make up my own words. Is that too much for a first blog? oh well, now when your like "why is cera like that, or do those things" maybe this will help a bit. or not. |
